What Are Specialty Infusion Services?
Specialty infusion services involve the administration of medications delivered intravenously or by injection in a monitored clinical setting.
At Brazos Valley Cancer Center, these services are provided:
- At the direction of an external ordering provider
- In coordination with the prescribing physician’s care plan
- With careful attention to patient education and monitoring
Our role is to administer prescribed therapies safely and support patients throughout the infusion process.
Conditions Commonly Supported
Specialty infusion services may include treatments prescribed for conditions such as:
- Multiple Sclerosis – including therapies such as Ocrevus
- Osteoporosis – including Prolia, Evenity, and Reclast
- Crohn’s Disease – including Remicade
- Early Alzheimer’s Disease – including Kisunla
These therapies are administered based on an active order from the patient’s treating provider. Brazos Valley Cancer Center does not independently diagnose or initiate treatment for these conditions.

Coordination With Your Provider
Specialty infusion services are provided as part of a coordinated care approach.
We work closely with:
- Ordering physicians
- Referring practices
- Specialty pharmacies
- Insurance providers, when applicable
This coordination helps ensure treatments are delivered according to the prescribed plan and that communication remains clear throughout care.
