Charis Durham, M.D.
Dr. Durham grew up in College Station and is a former Aggie. In 2022 she moved back to the Brazos Valley to join the Cancer Clinic. She and her husband have three children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting, baking, being outdoors, and traveling.
What is your personal philosophy on patient care?
”My personal philosophy is that patient care should be centered around the patient’s own goals and priorities. I believe information should be shared honestly and clinical options presented proactively. When a patient is navigating a complex situation, such as a cancer diagnosis, it is absolutely necessary that their medical providers are compassionate, available, and have access to the resources needed to provide the best care possible.”

I am 67 yrs. Old and have had a lot health issues over the years with cancer being the latest and hardest to deal with over all. Dr. Durham became my doctor after complications. I believe Dr. Durham is without a doubt, the best Doctor I’ve ever had treating all my many issues. Having her treating me is why I beat it so fast and her knowledge of cancer treatment made it seem almost easy. She made me feel I was the most important case she had and made me feel so positive and sure the cancer could and would be beaten with her as my Doctor.
Dr. Durham was on top of all the current treatments for my Nodular melanoma. When we had a busted what could be done here, she referred me to M.D. Anderson. I highly recommend her.
